Old Camberwell Grammarians' Association
When we looked at the OCGA's site in early 2008 and found “Annual Dinner 2006” plastered across the home page, we knew something was up. The antiquated frames-based layout that looked like it'd been created in 1995 was the second clue that it was time for an overhaul of the website.
Infusion Design was summoned.
To begin with, an entirely new design was needed. With a wide audience to cater for, Jamie thoughtfully crafted a fresh and modern concept, utilising elements of the Old Boys' tie to give the site a distinctive look.
A key requirement was the ability for their staff in the office to update their content quickly and easily. We were only too happy to oblige, and integrated our favourite Content Management System, the almighty ExpressionEngine into the vibrant new design.
The OCGA site serves as a handy portal for Old Boys to visit and view photos of events, and so a photo gallery was a necessity. To this end, we melded our XHTML to sit perfectly with ExpressionEngine's (creatively–named) Photo Gallery Module, creating a solution that is great to look at yet has a streamlined upload process for Jon and his busy colleagues.
